Aspac Developments’ newest waterfront community River Green is honoured to be one of the three winners of the prestigious 2013 Richmond Lulu Awards of Urban Design. The Lulu Awards, presented by Mayor Malcolm Brodie on January 13, celebrates and inspires excellence in urban design. This is the second time the company has entered and won in the city-sponsored competition.
River Green was awarded in the Residential and Mixed-Use (High-rise) category. Developed by Aspac Developments Ltd. and designed by James K.M. Cheng Architects Inc, this stunning development sits on the banks of the Fraser River in the Oval Village. With carefully-considered architectural and landscape design, these terraced residential apartment buildings vary in height from 4 to 14-storeys. A significant public art is installed on the sides of a pedestrian bridge between two of the buildings.
Aspac, a renowned real estate developer based in Vancouver, is currently building the community of River Green next to the Richmond Olympic Oval over the next 10 to 15 years.
