On June 4, 2018, the Richmond Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament brought together 140 golfers and more than 250 guests at the Richmond Country Club. Together they raised a record-breaking $318,000 (Net), well surpassing the initial goal of $160,000, to improve local health care in the community.

“It is truly awe-inspiring to see a community rally, embrace and champion the local health care needs of Richmond Hospital. We wish to thank our very generous donors, sponsors, Golf Committee members, Board members and the numerous volunteers who helped to make the day so inspiring for all.” said Harold Goodwyn, Richmond Hospital Foundation Golf Committee Chair and Foundation Board Member.

For the 8th consecutive year, Aspac Developments Ltd. continues to demonstrate their long-term commitment to improving health care in the community by being the proud Presenting Sponsor of the Richmond Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament.

The Fund-A-Need portion of this year’s event focused on the Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Emergency Department and the need for new ultrasound units, which are essential when diagnosing a variety of medical emergencies. Thanks to the gifts from generous donors at the tournament, the Richmond Hospital will be able to purchase two new state-of-the-art units, which help doctors make accurate and critical medical emergency diagnoses.

“Providing health care with the best equipment is important for our community,” said representative of ASPAC. “We are proud to continue to be part of this initiative of supporting Richmond’s health care needs.”
