On June 21, 2012, over 120 guests attended the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA) Annual General Meeting and Reception at the River Green Story Centre.
An evening that celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the networking event included hors’ d’oeruves, a lucky draw, and an exclusive photo exhibition showcasing HKCBA historical moments. Special guest, Ms. Gloria Lo, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office of the HKSAR government, came all the way from Toronto to join the event.
As Venue Sponsor, Ms. Karen Tung of Aspac Developments, welcomed the guests on behalf of the company. She said in her speech, “we would like to congratulate the HKCBA for doing such an excellent job in promoting business opportunities between Canada and China. Events like these give us great opportunities to connect and build great business relationships.”
HKCBA is one of the largest bi-lateral trade associations in Canada that encourage two-way trade between Canada and Hong Kong while promoting policies and discussions to expand trade and closer ties.
As one of Vancouver’s top developers of master-planned communities, Aspac will be building the River Green neighbourhood in Richmond over the next 15 years.
